I am working with an Executive Search firm in Sydney who are looking to hire an experienced Researcher to work on Retained mandates.
Having overachieved in 2024 the business continued to build their Executive Search offering across Australia and are now ahead of target to achieve sequential growth for 2025. They are now looking to build on their Research offering and are seeking an experienced Researcher to support the Director of the business in providing:
Market Mapping & Talent Identification:
Create a comprehensive list of target companies and potential candidates
Map organisational structures to identify who holds relevant positions
Use databases, LinkedIn, press releases, industry reports, and other tools to find relevant executives.
Candidate Sourcing & Profiling
Compile detailed profiles and dossiers on potential candidates, including employment history, achievements, education, and reputation.
Assess candidates for fit against the role’s requirements and organizational culture.
Industry & Competitive Intelligence
Research industry trends, competitive landscapes, and company performance.
Provide context to help the consultant or partner understand where the best candidates may be located.
Support on Client Briefing & Strategy Development
Prepare briefing documents for clients.
Participate in internal strategy discussions about how to approach a search.
Database Management
Update and maintain candidate records and firm’s proprietary databases.
The ideal person for this role will have extensive experience working at SHREK or established/respected Executive Search firm. You will also meet the following criteria:
Research experience working on retained mandates
Proven experience placing CSuite/CSuite minus 1
Have proficient mapping knowledge across MNC’s and National organisations
Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Be confident liaising with CSuite stakeholders
